Father's Love Letter

My Child...you may not know me, but I know everything about you (Psalm 139:1)

I know when you sit down and when you rise up (Psalm 139:2)

I am familiar with all your ways (Psalm 139:3)

Even the very hairs on your hair are numbered (Matthew 10:29-31)

For you were made in My image (Genesis 1:27)

In ME...you live and move and have your being (Acts 17:28)

For you are My offspring (Acts 17:28)

I knew you even before you were conceived (Jeremiah 1:4-5)

I chose you when I planned creation (Ephesians 1:11-12)

You were not a mistake, For all your days are written in My book (Psalm 139:15-16)

I determined the exact time of your birth and where you would live (Acts 17:26)

You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)

I knit you together in your mother's womb (Psalm 139:13)

And brought you forth on the day you were born (Psalm 71:6)

I have been misrepresented by those who don't know Me (John 8:41-44)

I am not distant and angry but am the complete expression of LOVE (I Jhon 4:16)

And it is My desire to lavish My LOVE on you (1 John 3:1)

Simply because you are My child and I am your Father (1 John 3:1)

I offer more than your earthly father ever could (Matthew 7:11)

For I AM the Perfect Father (Matthew 5:48)

Every good gift that you received comes from My hand (James 1:17)

For I am your provider and I meet all your needs (Matthew 6:31-33)

My plan for your future has always been filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11)

Because I LOVE YOU with an EVERLASTING LOVE (Jeremiah 31:3)

My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore (Psalm 139:17-18)

And I rejoice over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17)

I will NEVER STOP doing good to you (Jeremiah 32:40)

For you are My treasured possession (Exodus 19:5)

I desire to establish you with all My heart and My soul (Jeremiah 32:41)

And I wanna show you great and marvelous things (Jeremiah 33:3)

If you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me (Deuteronomy 4:29)

Delight in Me and I will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4)

For it is I who gave you those desires (Phillipians 2:13)

I am able to do more for you than you could possibly imagine (Ephesians 3:20)

For I am your greatest encourager (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)

I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

When you are brokenhearted, I am close to you (Psalm 34:18)

As a shepherd carries a lamb, I have carried you close to My heart (Isaiah 40:11)

One day..I will wipe away every tears from your eyes (Revelation 21:3-4)

And I will take away all the pain that you have suffered on this earth (Revelation 21:3-4)

I am your Father and I LOVE YOU even as I LOVE My Son, JESUS (John 17:23)

For in Jesus, My LOVE for you is revealed (John 17:26)

He is the exact representation of My being (Hebrews 1:3)

He came to demonstrate that I am for you, Not against you (Romans 8:31)

And to tell you that I am not counting your sins (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

Jesus died so that you and I could be reconciled (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

His death was the ultimate expression of My LOVE for you (1 John 4:10)

I gave up everything I LOVED, that I might gain your LOVE (Romans 8:31-32)

If you received the gift of My Son, Jesus...you receive Me (1 John 2:23)

And nothing will ever separate you from My LOVE again (Romans 8:38-39)

Come home and I will throw the biggest party heaven has ever seen (Luke 15:7)

I have always been Father and will always be Father (Ephesians 3:14-15)

MY QUESTION IS........

WOULD YOU BE MY CHILD? (John 1:12-13)

Dear Heavenly Father....

Have you ever realized that God is answering your prayers most of the time???? Well...if you still don't realize that, I want to show you that God does answers your prayers!! Before that, I would like to share a sweet quote that makes me believe that God is listening to our prayers.

"When we bend our knees to pray, God bends His ear to listen"

I have to admit that sometimes it is hard for me to pray, but I really like to write down my pray requests and just pray a simple pray. I have a small book where I usually wrote down all the pray requests that I had. and GUESS WHAT!! the first time I've done it..I am so AMAZED of what God did to all of my pray requests.

This is what I did, First...I wrote down my pray requests like this:

Pray Requests:

• God please help me on my midterms tomorrow
• Protects my mom and dad
• Please help my sister and her friend Candace to pass their nursing test tomorrow
• Help me so that I could be a blessing to others
• God please help me to find a job in campus
• Help me to make good friends and meet nice people

And this is what I realized like 2-3 weeks, sometimes it will take like 1 month or 2 after I wrote that down"

God please help me on my midterms tomorrow (ANSWERED) I passed most of my midterms, I got A's in most of them

Protects my mom and dad (ANSWERED)

Please help my sister ans her friend Candace to pass their nursing test tomorrow (ANSWERED) They did passed the test, they've been studying in Jerry's for hours

God please help me to find a job in campus (ANSWERED) I worked as a custodian in Stewart Hall, and it was so easy to get that job! I got like at least $250.00-300.00 a month.

Help me to make good friends and meet nice people (ANSWERED) I met CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) people, and they are AWESOME

That's how exactly I did it, I have pages of pray requests and they've all been ANSWERED most of the time.

Our God is a Faithful God, He will never let you down!

These are some things that He said about "PRAY":

Matthew 7:7

ASK and you will RECEIVE. SEARCH, and you will FIND. KNOCK, and the door will be OPENED for you.

Philippians 4:6-7

Don't worry about anything, but PRAY about everything. With thankful hearts OFFER UP your PRAYERS and REQUESTS to God.

Colossians 4:2

Never give up praying. And when you pray, keep alert and be thankful.

1 John 5:14-15

We are certain that God will hear our prayers when we ask for what pleases Him. And if we know that God listens when we pray, we are sure that our prayers have already been ANSWERED.

Now you can see that whenever you bend your knees and close your eyes, God will be ready to listen to your prayers. Lift up all of your prayers to God and He will takes care of your prayers.

He is an AMAZING FATHER..who will give all kinds of good things to all of His children who come to Him and Trust Him.

Matthew 7:9-11

Would any of you give your hungry child a stone, if the child ask for a bread? Would you give your child a snake if the child ask for the fish? As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. But your Heavenly Father is even more ready to give good things to people who ask.

Saved by Faith

When things are going Crazy and you really don't know what to do, you will start to feel so frustrated and depressed. From that point, you start to have a doubt about God, you might start to think that God does not care and you also start asking questions..God where are you??, Are you listening to my prayers??, Do you still care about me??, Why do you let this happen??!! You begin to feel like you are standing in the middle of darkness and feels like God is too busy taking care other people but you!

Well..sometimes it is not easy to understand God, He has His own way to let you know that He is care about you. Sometimes you need to wait for a long time until you get what you want. However, there is one thing that you should know, God wants you to have "Faith". When you are praying and waiting for God to answer your prayer, you need to believe that He is listening and He will give you whatever you need. But..remember!! You have to have Faith in Him.

Hebrews 10:1
Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we can't see.

If we don't have Faith, we will not believe that God is exist because it says "It gives us proof of what we can't see".

Hebrews 10:6
But without Faith no one can please God. We must believe that God is real and He rewards everyone who searches for Him.

Romans 5:1
By Faith we have been made acceptable to God. And now because of our Lord Jesus Christ, we live at peace with God.

John 11:40
Jesus replied, "Didn't I tell you that if you had Faith, you would see the Glory of God?

John 6:47
I tell you for certain that everyone who has FAITH in Me has Eternal Life.

John 3:15-16
Then everyone who has Faith in the Son of Man will have eternal Life. God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who has Faith in Him will have eternal Life and never really die.

Matthew 24:13
But if you keep on being Faithful right to the end, you will be saved.

Matthew 17:21
But I can promise you this. If you had Faith no larger than a mustard seed, you could tell this mountain to move from here to there. And it would. Everything would be POSSIBLE for you.

God will rewards you ONLY if you Have "FAITH" and believe in your heart that GOD IS REAL!! One day you will see..He will give you anything that you asked for, because you have "FAITH"!

The world is coming to an end, there are all kinds of disasters all over the world like Tsunamies, Earthquakes, Wars, Murderers, all kinds of bad things that happened lately.

Well, God wants you to know this....

James 1:12
God will BLESS you, if you don't give up when your FAITH is being TESTED. He will reward you with a Glorious life, just as He rewards everyone who Loves Him.


Therefore, as a follower of Jesus Christ, you DON'T NEED TO WORRY!! Because God promised you "If you have FAITH you will live in PEACE, you will have ETERNAL LIVE, and you will be SAVED. (Our God is an Awesome God ;p)

Light of the World

Matthew 28:19
Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples

When I went to Fall Retreat 2008, in Miami-Oklahoma, I watched some videos about reaching out. I started to think what can I do to reach out those people who don't know Jesus. I cannot just go to different countries and do it because it's not that easy. Well, I am thinking..There are Lots of people in my campus (SWOSU) who don't know Jesus, maybe I could start from there.

I realized that I could not just come up to strangers and start talking about God. I need to build a relationship with them first, since it's easier for me to make friends than just randomly talks about Jesus.

There are some steps to let people know that you are the follower of Christ

First Step: Make Friends

Romans 12:16
Be FRIENDLY with EVERYONE. Don't be proud and feel that you are smarter than others. Make friends with ORDINARY people.

Think about it, how can we make friends with a stranger with different personality and background if we are not even friendly or if we think that we are better than that person. If it's hard for us to smile or say"hey how are you today?". Who wants to be friends with people like that?.

Second Step: Show the Love of Christ

John 13:34-35
I'm giving you a new command. You MUST LOVE each other, just as I have loved you. If you Love each other, everyone WILL KNOW that you are my disciples.

Third Step: Let your Light Shine

Matthew 5:16
Make your Light Shine, so that OTHERS WILL SEE the good that you do and will PRAISE your Father in Heaven.

Philippians 2:15b
Try to SHINE AS LIGHTS among the people of this world.

Imagine this..you came in to a room where there is no light at all but actually there are some people in that room. When you go there and turn your flashlight on, everybody will looking at you and they will start asking where did you get that flashlight? because they've been looking for at least one flashlight or a lighter but they could not find it. It is the same like the people in this world who don't know Jesus. They've been looking for a Happiness, Hope, Love, Comfort, etc but they just can't find at least one of those. When you came in to their life and fulfilled all of the emptiness as you bring everything that they ever needed, they will start asking where did you get all of that. You already know the answer..isn't it Awesome!!

I think those are the THREE simple steps that we can follow to start reaching out the people who are lost in our campus. One time my pastor said "When you are full of Christ, You cannot Hide it. People will see it no matter what."

We should be the example for them, that way they will know what the Christians look like.

Let the people know what makes you do all kinds of good things to other people. Let them know who taught you to Love others as your brothers and sisters. Let them know who always helps you and gives you Hope when you are hopeless. Let them know where do you go when you felt so lost. Let them know THE WAY TO HEAVEN!! Let them know there is only ONE answer to those questions and the answer is Jesus Christ.

I am the Masterpiece

Not Cute, Not Attractive nor Beautiful...That's how I always feel about Myself!!! I will never look pretty in front of other people. No matter how hard I tried, I have to accept it that I will never look pretty. When I wake up in the morning and look at myself in the mirror, I always think to myself "Look how ugly you are!". YES ..That's me! I never appreciate what God has given me. One day, I feel like someone said to me that I've hurt God's feelings. Do I care about it??? the answer is "NO". I care of what people think about me, not God. I like to compare myself with other girls in my classes. I keep telling myself "Gloria, you are ugly". I wish I was someone else. Nothing can changed that feeling. The good news is God cares about my feelings. As I read my bible, God showed me some scriptures that makes me feel better about myself.

1 Peter 3:4

Be beautiful in your heart by being gentle and quiet. This kind of beauty will last, and God considers it very special.

Proverbs 31:30

Charm can be deceiving, and beauty will fades away, but a woman who honors the Lord deserves to be praised.

Psalms 139:13-14

You are the one who put me together inside my mother's womb, and I praise you because of the Wonderful way you created me. Everything you do is Marvelous ! of this I have no doubt.

In a book Every Young Woman's Battle, it says:

"Physical beauty isn't going to last forever and that our primary focus shouldn't be on outward beauty. However, the beauty that comes from Loving and Serving God with a happy heart is a beauty that endures even when your figures has fallen south and wrinkles adorn your face. True beauty doesn't come from fresh makeup, the latest hairstyle, or how you look in your blue jeans. Rather, it radiates from the inside out, from a heart that delights in the Lord.

These scriptures makes me think that God sees me on the inside. I don't need to try really hard to look pretty on the outside but on the inside by praising His name and brings Glory to Him. That's all I need to do to look pretty. Beauty will fades away but the beauty that shines inside of our heart will last. When we died, people will not remember how beautiful we were but how precious we were on the inside.

A week ago when I went to church, I remember the preacher was talking about "What we feel on the inside will reflects on the outside".

It really caught my attention, when the preacher said "Most of the time, we feel bad about ourselves, but there is one thing that we should know that God created us as His MASTER PIECE. God DID NOT CREATE JUNK! He created us for a purpose.

I know this is weird, but there is something inside of me who keeps telling me these things every time I feel "Not Pretty, well I just called it "My Invisible Friend"

It says: Gloria look at you, you have both legs and arms, two eyes and you don't have to wear glasses, you have two ears and they are perfect, beautiful black hair..and so much more everything is Normal. There is no reason for you to feel UGLY..!

These are other things that it says to me :

• Gloria, you were born as a Christian, God chose you from the beginning.
• God loves you so much for who you are
• You have wonderful parents.
• A really nice sister.
• Tons of Wonderful friends.

There is this one Beautiful woman named Lezlie\, she gave me a cute card before CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ), when I opened the card, the first thing that I read was" God had BLESSED you with UNCONTAINABLE JOY!! I thought that was the most ENCOURAGE thing that someone ever said to me. Whenever I feel that I am Not Good Enough or I am not Worthy, I always open the card and read it over and over and over again. Maybe she thinks that card is just a simple thing, but for me that card Means Everything and I will keep it forever.

The last thing I wanna say is "GOD DID NOT CREATE JUNK!!" We are precious in His eyes. What we have on the inside, is what matters to HIM ;)

Relationship with God

Have you ever had an experience when you feel that one day you had a WONDERFUL relationship with God, but on the next day, you feel like God is so far away from you??. Or you feel like you haven't pray for a long time and when something bad happens to you, you remember that God is the only one who can helps you in that situation; however, it is hard for you to pray to God because you felt guilty. When everything is right you completely forgot about God, but when you have problems you turn back to Him.
Well, this is what happens to me all the time..so I would like to share some scriptures and some thoughts.

As I put a lot of thoughts about my relationship's experience with God, I found some scriptures that makes me think in a positive way about my relationship problem.

Acts 17:27
God did this so that men would seek Him perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is NOT FAR from each one of us.

Isaiah 58:9
When you beg the Lord for help, He will answer "HERE I AM"

1 Peter 5:7
God Cares for you, so turn all your worries over to Him

--If you have the same problem as me, I just want you to know this is what God wants us to do

James 5:13
If you are having trouble, you should PRAY. And if you are feeling good, you should SING PRAISES.

It does not matter how many times you forgot about Him, God will always takes you back.

When you seek Him in times of trouble, He will be there because even though you feel that He is FAR AWAY from you, in fact, He is NOT FAR.

You don't need to feel guilty. When God gives you all of those problems, He only have ONE reason for that..He wants YOU to COME BACK, He wants YOU to REMEMBER that Jesus is the ONLY ONE who cares about you, NO MATTER what you did to HIM.

He LOVES you so much, He won't let you find your own way. He WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU--He is an AWESOME FATHER who wants to build a STRONG relationship with YOU!
